Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have experience working in the public sector space, specifically in building secure and compliant solutions
• The candidates should possess strong communication skills and technical knowledge, being able to impress customers at any level, from executive to developer
• The candidates should have thought-leadership experience in the public sector regarding business, products, and technical challenges and should be natural influencers and leaders, someone with whom customers are eager to engage
• The candidates should have 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• The candidates should have 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience and have experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• The candidates should have experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud and have experience with AWS technologies
• The candidates should have experience working with public sector customers and responding to RFx’s (RFP, RFI)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to own technical engagements at all levels, remove technical account management barriers, define technical architectures and contribute to RFI and RFP responses
• The candidates should be able to develop and deliver presentations, discussions, product demos, sample solutions, blog posts, and white papers and work closely with account managers and business developers to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS cloud
• The candidates should be able to gain industry recognition and credibility as a regular attendee, panelist, and keynote speaker at AWS and third-party technology conferences, trade shows, and press events and capture and share knowledge with the broader AWS Solutions Architecture community
• The candidates should be able to help customers ranging from large provincial governments to various municipal organizations and own customer technical engagements, diving deep with them and being hands-on with technology
• The candidates should be able to work with customers to set up resilient, secure, high-performing AWS solutions and possess technical and business acumen that enables engagement at all levels of an organization
• The candidates should be able to be comfortable presenting on complex software architectures to engineers and explaining such concepts to non-technical executives
• The candidates should be able to author whitepapers and reference architectures that will be leveraged by the SA community, including partners and customers
• The candidates should be able to deliver technical webinars, speak at public events, and file patents for potential future features/products
