Work setting: Office and urban area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Excel, MS Windows, and electronic mail

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
  • The candidates should be capable of working with minimal supervision

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries, work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, and databases, and sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents
  • The candidates should be able to process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, send and receive messages, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • The candidates should be able to compile data, statistics, and other information, provide general information to clients and the public, and photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies and maintain inventory, perform data entry, and file material in the storage area
  • The candidates should be able to label files according to retention and disposal schedules, label, file, and retrieve documents, locate and remove files requested, and organize and schedule office work
