Position: Food counter attendant

Salary: $14.75 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: 1420 Vanier Blvd Bathurst, NB E2A 7B7
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Electronic cash register
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work overtime when required
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and be comfortable performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be capable of working under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used accurately and package take-out food neatly
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods efficiently and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items effectively
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables courteously and stock refrigerators and salad bars appropriately
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders accurately
