Salary: $17.00 hourly for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time – On the road job
Location: 150 Bruce Street, Brantford, ON N3S 4Z4
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Travel expenses paid by employer and willing to travel regularly
Work setting: Amusement park, staff accommodation available, and various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should be capable of performing bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks
- The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads in a physically demanding role
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, good judgment, and reliability
- The candidates should be collaborative team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to set up and operate rides, amusements, and game booths, perform maintenance on rides and equipment, and clean/maintain recreational facilities and grounds
- The candidates should handle ticket collection, fee collection, and rental/sale of sports and accessory equipment, assist patrons on and off rides, securing and releasing safety belts and bars, and drive trucks, vans, and other vehicles to transport amusement rides, games, and attractions to various sites
