Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be comfortable working outdoors, in wet/damp, dusty, hot, and dirty conditions
- The candidate should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads in physically demanding conditions, which may require bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidate should be prepared for a large workload and overtime when required, while being comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, harvest seedlings, and mix fertilizer
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, perform weeding, and clean work areas
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
