Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Smart Serve, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Immunization records
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, ensuring they can perform their duties effectively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a focus on clients, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should be reliable team players with a positive attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks, take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, and prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages, operate a cash register, and record and balance beverage sales
- The candidates should be able to store beverage and food products, order bar stock, maintain inventory and control of bar stock, and address customers’ complaints or concerns while enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons
