Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems
Experience: Candidates should have proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to understand and apply administrative policies, processes, and procedures
  • The candidates should understand and apply relevant laws and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to communicate effectively in a variety of mediums
  • The candidates should be proficient in applying analytical skills
  • The candidates should be adept at using office technology, software, and applications
  • The candidates should possess certification in Business Analysis as a plus point

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to evaluate existing practices, processes, and procedures to assess potential improvements
  • The candidates should be able to recommend, develop, implement, and enhance new systems, procedures, and policies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • The candidates should be able to develop comprehensive business models and reports to support decision-making processes
  • The candidates should be able to work cross-functionally across the department ensuring alignment and successful project implementation
  • The candidates should be able to communicate findings, proposed changes, and insights to department leadership and key stakeholders through clear and concise presentations
  • The candidates should be able to develop training guides to ensure change management for new policies, processes, and systems, and business process documentation for reference purposes
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and update the intranet, SharePoint, and other internal websites for Talent Management
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and update systems, policies, procedures, and materials
  • The candidates should be able to support with tasks related to the RFP process for departmental activities and maintain oversight over Purchase Order (PO) processing
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. They should help to remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC’s commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC’s policies
