Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be detail-oriented, consistently demonstrating a high level of attention to detail in their work, and capable of standing for extended periods, meeting the physical requirements of the role
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, ensuring precision and correctness in their work, and have flexibility, adapting smoothly to changing work requirements
- The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
- The candidates should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales, greet customers, and assist customers with self-checkout
- The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
