Work setting: Food and beverage plant, Cheese makers, Processing plant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp area, odours, and hot area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible, and reliable
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to food safety/handling skills
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- The candidates should be able to feed and unload processing machines
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
