Salary: $19.40 hourly for 40 hours per 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Bécancour, QC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Shift, Overtime, Morning
Work Setting: Food and beverage plant, Processing plant, Cheese makers
Work site environment: Odours, Hot, Wet/damp
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
- The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads.
- The candidate should be physically demanding.
- The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
- The candidate should be willing to work in bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking position for extended periods of time.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidate should be efficient and a good team player.
- The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should have food safety/handling skills.
- The candidate should transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials, manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
- The candidate should feed and unload processing machines, clean machines and immediate work areas.
