Public Health Ontario based in Toronto, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Chief, health information and promotion – government services. Public Health Ontario is the Ontario Government agency responsible for providing scientific and technical advice to those working to promote and protect the health of people in Ontario, Canada. We enable informed decisions and actions that protect and promote health and contribute to reducing health inequities. Salary: $214,755 to $270,327 annually (to be negotiated) 36.25 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Toronto, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, dependable, organized, initiative, and judgmental.
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan and control budget and expenditures
- The candidates should be able to advise senior management
- The candidates should be able to direct and advise health or social policy researchers, consultants or program officers
