Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, own vehicle, and valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Transportation/travel experience:
Local
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work, being capable of meeting tight deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs), ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in their tasks

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand efficiently, accurately, and safely
  • The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up, deliver, and transport various items and products safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service by providing courteous, helpful assistance, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • The candidates should be able to accept payment or invoices for items delivered, handle transactions accurately and securely, and provide excellent customer service
  • The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch promptly, accurately, and efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to keep a record of items received and delivered, maintain accurate inventory records, and record trip information such as vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods efficiently to ensure timely delivery and maintain inventory accuracy
  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and sort packages for delivery carefully to prevent damage, ensure safety, and follow delivery routes accurately
  • The candidates should be able to follow directions, read maps, and use trip planning aids effectively to navigate delivery routes accurately, plan schedules, and ensure on-time deliveries
  • The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, compliance with regulations, and address any problems encountered during the trip
