Work setting: Rural area and Remote location
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Own transportation
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should have the ability to work independently and under pressure, perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks with attention to detail, and handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should demonstrate organization, flexibility, good judgment, and reliability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bud trees, clean crops, and hand harvest vegetables
- The candidates should be able to handle animals, harvest seedlings, and mix fertilizer
- The candidates should be able to perform animal grooming activities, including shearing Christmas trees, and feed and tend animals
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, fertilize and spray them, and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
