BCD Ventures based in Abbotsford, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Cleaner, rugs. BCD Ventures is a full service emergency team to mitigate the loss caused by fire, water or wind damage and begin the restorative process. Our technicians are fully trained to respond to any emergency or type of property damage. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of Cleaner, rugs is approved by LMIA.

Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Carpet cleaning machine, Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Power tools, Steam cleaners
Cleaning experience: Carpets/rugs, Industrial equipment, Upholstery
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads

- The candidates should be client focus, dependable, flexible, organized, reliable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cleaning machines
- The candidates should be able to vacuum floors
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
