Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages Python, C, C++, Java and JavaScript

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have 3 years of experience in Android in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role
  • The candidates should have 3 years of experience building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality, and code health compilers, automated releases, code design and testing and test automation frameworks
  • The candidates should have 5 years of experience in a testing and quality-related role to help with product development and launch or Android test automation tooling UiAutomator, Robolectric
  • The candidates should have 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing strategic projects, with 3 years of experience in a people management, supervision or team leadership role
  • The candidates should have experience with Android apps and testing the Android operating system
  • The candidates should have experience with the Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS)
  • The candidates should have experience working with external SoC and OEM partners
  • The candidates should be able to set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization’s goals and align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role, aligned with the broader organization’s goals. They should meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching
  • The candidates should be able to develop the mid-term technical outlook and roadmap within the scope of their (often multiple) teams, evolving the roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure
  • The candidates should be able to design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems
  • The candidates should be able to review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices, including style guidelines, code check-ins, accuracy, testability and efficiency
