Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Cuisine specialties: East Indian

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client focus, reliable, dependable, flexible, initiative, judgment, organized, and be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean kitchen and work areas, recruit and hire staff
  • The candidates should be able to organize and manage buffets and banquets
  • The candidates should be able to manage kitchen operations
