Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre, Warehouse
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and prepared for physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs) or more
- The candidates should have attention to detail and hand-eye coordination, as well as proficiency in bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be hardworking, quick learners, and have good time management skills
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, have excellent oral communication skills, and be reliable
- The candidates should also be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, as well as operate a variety of equipment efficiently
- The candidates should be able to pick orders and stock accurately, provide excellent customer service during interactions, and wrap goods securely for transport or storage
- The candidates should also be able to pack and unpack goods with care, and organize and maintain inventory effectively
