Position: Coordinator of nursing services

Salary: $26.00 hourly for 35 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract  Full time
Location: Barrie, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Shift, Overtime, On Call, To be determined, Morning
Transportation information: Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Home care and visiting care agency

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and  Persian Languages
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office 
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their job responsibilities
• The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday
• The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination skills
• The candidates should have manual dexterity to perform tasks effectively
• The candidates should be physically fit and able to meet the demands of a physically demanding job

• The candidates should be accurate in their work, demonstrating precision and attention to detail
• The candidates should be client-focused, understanding and effectively addressing client needs, while possessing efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be involved in assisting in the selection, evaluation, and professional development of personnel
• The candidates should ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed
• The candidates should be capable of setting up and coordinating nursing services in conjunction with other health services
