Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of four years of previous relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should regularly work on campus in person or work temporarily remotely due to public health orders, directives and/or health and safety requirements

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess knowledge of communications, public relations, marketing, and social media processes
  • The candidates should have knowledge of individual, corporate, and foundation fundraising principles, the changing philanthropic climate and techniques, as well as all types of donations, charitable giving, and fundraising instruments
  • The candidates should be familiar with the university’s strategic priorities and goals, along with policies and procedures
  • The candidates should have knowledge of the faculty or department as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
  • The candidates should have familiarity with office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
  • The candidates should also have knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to undertake major gifts outreach and manage relationships to raise funds to support university programs and services
