Education: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the relevant field
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Advertising, Media relations, Marketing strategy development
Area of work experience: Marketing
Computer and technology knowledge: CSS, HTML editing software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Spreadsheet, Electronic mail, Database management, MS Office, Tablet computer, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media, WordPress
Credentials: Bing Ads Accreditation, Google, AdWords, Certification

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

  • The candidates should be able to advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies, answer written and oral inquiries, and assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions, develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies, and other events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes
  • The candidates should be able to develop, implement, and evaluate communication strategies and programs, gather, research, and prepare communications material, and initiate and maintain contact with the media
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions, prepare or oversee the preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, website content, and press releases
  • The candidates should be able to respond to inquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities, process classified ads, plan development projects, and maintain and manage a digital database
  • The candidates should be able to deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia, consult with clients after the sale to provide ongoing support, conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  • The candidates should be able to conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products, review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals, prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles
  • The candidates should be able to conduct analytical marketing studies, develop marketing strategies, conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and website promotions, modify web pages, applets, and scripts
  • The candidates should be able to develop a portfolio of marketing materials, write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials
