Salary: $15.90 to $24.47 hourly (To be negotiated) for 74.25 to 80 hours bi-weekly

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit attention to detail in all aspects of their work
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary for job requirements
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to provide opportunities for children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity and have knowledge of licensing regulations
- The candidates should be able to establish guidelines for behavior, assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children, and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
