Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Vegetables

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working at heights if required by the job and able to work in wet or damp environments
• The candidates should be tolerant of odours that may be present in the workplace and able to work in hot conditions
• The candidates should be non-smoking
• The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently, and be capable of performing repetitive tasks consistently and accurately
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads safely and effectively, be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, and exhibit attention to detail in their work
• The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, able to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary for the job, and handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication and collaboration, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving situations
• The candidates should maintain an organized approach to tasks and responsibilities, be team players, contributing positively to group dynamics and goals, and uphold high standards of values and ethics in their professional conduct
• The candidates should be reliable, consistently delivering on their commitments and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean crops, perform clipping tasks, deleaf plants, grade crops, and clean greenhouses
• The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, lower plants, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, sucker plants, and tie plants
• The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, sort and pack fruits and vegetables, report signs of insect or disease damage, and clean the work area
