We specialize in processing Cold Water Atlantic Lobster Products. We export to Canadian, US, Asian, European Markets, and are currently expanding into the Live Market. Salary: $15.30 to 18.00 hourly for 37 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: 261 Main Street, Shediac, NB, E4P 2A6
Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, To be determined, Early Morning and Morning
Work site environment: Candidates should work in noisy, odours, cold/refrigerated and wet/damp place
Security and safety: Bond required and criminal record should checked
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required and public transportation is not available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, manually dexter, stand for extended periods and also pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically strong and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have experience of field work location like New Brunswick
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Shellfish processing machine
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to check products and packaging for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform corrective machine adjustments as required and also record production information
- The candidate should be able to set up and operate machines to can, bag, box or otherwise package fish and seafood products and also set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate or otherwise process fish or seafood products
