We do daily routine checks on all our roofing gear, always tie off our ladders, and firmly secure any materials and tools. We also establish a designated debris fall area for the benefit of all in the work zone. We are fully licensed, and liability insured which protects our clients and our employees, ensuring peace of mind at all times. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Construction specialization: Resident
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety vest
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t a valid Canadian work permit also can apply.
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, flexible, should efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour and spread materials, assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites
