Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning
Work setting: Restaurant, and Urban area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months 

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments, hot environments, and noisy conditions
• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work effectively under pressure
• The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, stand for extended periods, and handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• The candidates should prioritize client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks
• The candidates should show initiative in problem-solving and maintain an organized approach to their work
• The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in various forms, including cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections for customers
• The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, as well as serve food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs while providing customer service
