Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven and Electronic cash register
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and lift objects weighing up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks that may include repetitive movements and standing for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, waste disposal units, and kitchen equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene
- The candidates should be able to place dishes in designated storage areas, maintaining organization and accessibility
- The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, following health and safety protocols
- The candidates should be able to scour pots and pans to remove food residue and maintain cleanliness
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used to manage inventory effectively
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food securely and prepare it for customer pickup or delivery
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items as per established recipes and guidelines
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing efficient and friendly service
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and maintain proper temperature levels
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs effectively
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
