Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 10524 101ST NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 2R8
Shifts: Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift
Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: ProServe program

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to work in noisy area

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, and flexible
  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • The candidates should be able to estimate and order ingredients and supplies, hire food service staff
  • The candidates should be able to ensure food service and quality control, address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidates should be able to prepare budget and cost estimates
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules
  • The candidates should be able to prepare food order summaries for chef
