Atlantic Catch Data Ltd based in Saulnierville, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Sampler, food products. Atlantic Catch Data Ltd is a fisheries data management company which works with fishing industry stakeholders to collect, manage, and analyze fisheries data to support sustainable fisheries management. We provide a variety of services, including the design and implementation of data collection programs, data entry and management, data analysis and reporting, and training and support for fishery stakeholders. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.00 hourly 20 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Saulnierville, NS
Shifts: Day, Evening, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s license, Willing to travel
Work setting: Food and beverage plant, Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of work experience: Fishing industry
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible and reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should have food safety/handling skills
- The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
