Salary: $16.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Work setting: Food service establishment and Restaurant
Supervision: 3 to 4 people


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and attentive to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be focused on client needs and equipped with efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be flexible in their approach and a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate and order ingredients and supplies, and ensure food service and quality control
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and supervise and check the assembly of trays
