Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate
Experience: Candidates should have should have experience creating a referral network and a current, extensive network of “centres of influence.”

  • The candidates should possess strong prospecting, networking, and business development skills
  • The candidates should have proven sales success in meeting and exceeding targets
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent relationship building skills both internally and externally to identify and implement strategies that drive business growth
  • The candidates should have independent, entrepreneurial, and self-management skills to achieve planned goals
  • The candidates should hold a designation as a Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) and/or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, or be willing to complete the necessary courses to achieve the RPA designation within 18 months of the start date
  • The candidates should possess excellent presentation, communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • The candidates should have highly developed PC and mobile literacy with demonstrated digital capability using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • The candidates should be action-oriented and demonstrate creative business acumen

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to focus 60% of their time on lead generation and 40% on sales activation for Group Retirement Savings and Financial Wellness programs
  • The candidates should be able to identify referral opportunities for the Mortgage Assistance and Capital Loan Programs
  • The candidates should be able to champion the RBC Group Advantage value proposition with partners and in the external market
  • The candidates should be able to build and maintain relationships with senior managers across Canadian Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management
  • The candidates should be able to enable activities that result in the acquisition of new Group Advantage Sponsors
  • The candidates should be flexible to work an occasional evening or weekend
