Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent, and are currently registered with the provincial association
Experience: Candidates should have worked experience in clinical and administrative environment for at least 10 years

- The candidates should have the ability to effectively plan, direct, and coordinate resident care services with the needs of the organization
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, and performance manage others
- The candidates should consistently demonstrate excellence in customer service to all stakeholders
- The candidates should have a passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan, coordinate, administer, and evaluate resident care services related to allied health, recreation & wellness activities, and provide clinical expertise
- The candidates should be able to provide leadership and oversight to all departmental activities, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation
- The candidates should be able to oversee the recruitment, training, and orientation of new team members
- The candidates should be able to monitor and manage performance, providing coaching as necessary
- The candidates should be able to ensure that the team adheres to Standards of Nursing Practice, Code of Ethics, Registered Nurses Act, and Regulations as defined by provincial legislation
- The candidates should be able to organize continuous quality improvement, risk management, and quality assurance activities
- The candidates should be able to encourage and promote relationships with internal and external stakeholders
