Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should have the physical ability to bend, crouch, lift and be in motion for most of the shift
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have the knowledge of the responsibilities of and working in the housekeeping department is an asset but not required also be reliable and responsible person with team-based ethics
- The candidate having previous customer service experience is an asset
- The candidate should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task also be able to enjoy rewarding work with the opportunity to finish what you start and see the task completed to end
- The candidate should have an interest in working towards a career in the Hospitality / Tourism industry
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to elevate guests’ lodging experience, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and welcoming for the guest also be able to work with guest interactions and opportunities to promote a positive image of the property to guests by being friendly, professional, and able to address problems or special requests
- The candidate should be able to perform tasks from working on this team in a resort setting will open opportunities for advancement internally and externally throughout the Tourism/Hospitality industry
- The candidate should be able to monitor and clean the hotel public areas (Corridors, Washrooms, Lobbies, Stairwells, Health Club & Fitness area etc.) also clean all surfaces of the upper and lower hotel back-of-house space hallways
- The candidate should be able to remove refuse in public areas, including the perimeter of the hotel and the Residences also clean administrative areas, including removal of waste, recycling, and vacuuming
- The candidate should be able to stock and sort the supply in all housekeeping closets and carts also collect and sort all soiled linen in prescribed timelines for the laundry service to pick up
- The candidate should be able to collect garbage and recycling from all Hotel and Residence linen closets, placing them into correct compactors and bins also deliver required resources to team members
- The candidate should be able to deliver service and retrieve all guest-requested hotel resources, such as playpens, humidifiers, etc. also always ensures the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- The candidate should be able to perform deep cleaning rotational cleaning duties aligned with the schedule
- The candidate should be able to act with professionalism and provides a service standard that elevates the guest experience also act as an ambassador of the Hotel & Sun Peaks
- The candidate should be able to deliver quality service when assisting guests with room amenities, cleaning, and additional hotel standard special requests as it relates to their guest room stay also execute stayover and departure cleaning of the Hotel and Residences rooms
- The candidate should be able to always ensures the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests also perform deep cleaning rotational cleaning duties as scheduled
