Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience consulting with and preparing information for stakeholders at all levels to understand and best respond to their business
  • The candidates should possess considerable experience programming, designing, and developing reports using tools such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau
  • The candidates should demonstrate considerable experience in developing reporting tools and methodologies that assist in analyzing and interpreting workforce data, providing meaningful insights
  • The candidates should ideally have experience working in the HR domain or with HR Information Systems reporting, specifically with SAP or SAP SuccessFactors and strong oral and written communication skills
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to manage complex requests and provide alternate, innovative strategies in response to client workforce data
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to successfully plan, organize, and manage work both in a team environment and independently
  • The candidates should have sound judgment and the ability to handle matters of a confidential or sensitive nature knowledge of and experience with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
  • The candidates should have knowledge of relevant human resources policies, procedures, collective agreement provisions, and legislative compliance
  • The candidates should ideally possess knowledge of accounting and costing methodology related to payroll, salary, and benefit

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to consult with clients to understand their data, reporting, and analytics needs, determining the best solutions using available data and tools
  • The candidates should be able to recommend data and metrics that enhance the client’s story or call to action, identifying meaningful insights through analysis
  • The candidates should be able to lead responses to data and analysis requests, managing scope and ensuring deliverables meet client
  • The candidates should be able to develop, program, and maintain databases using tools like MS Access and MS Excel, focusing on workforce datasets
  • The candidates should be able to ensure data integrity by cleansing and mapping data, performing transformations from various sources, and preparing data for team use
  • The candidates should be able to deliver assigned data, reports, and analysis to clients promptly, demonstrating sound judgement with sensitive and confidential information
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with team members on response strategies, prototyping, testing, and project delivery
  • The candidates should be able to educate clients on workforce data, metrics calculation, and appropriate data usage, showcasing a strong client focus
  • The candidates should be able to conduct research, stay informed on workforce trends and benchmarks, and engage in continuous learning
  • The candidates should be able to contribute as a subject matter expert on workforce data and reporting in corporate and divisional projects
