Location: 3320 PARSONS RD NW, Edmonton, AB T6N 1B5
Shifts: Flexible Hours, To be determined
Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 year to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Labour relations, Human resources and Wage analysis
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be effective team players
  • The candidates should uphold strong values and ethics in their professional conduct

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs, as well as advise managers and employees on their interpretation, including benefit programs and collective agreements
  • The candidates should be able to mediate labour disputes and grievances, research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • The candidates should be able to administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs, co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, and research employee benefits and health and safety practices, recommending changes
  • The candidates should be able to respond to employee questions and complaints, plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, and manage contracts
  • The candidates should be able to manage training and development strategies, oversee payroll administration, liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants, and oversee the analysis of employee data and information
