Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, STEM program or any IT related programs
Experience: Candidates should have experience with software development

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision, and deal with conflicting priorities and work demands

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with software development using at least one of the following: JavaScript, React, Angular, Java, cloud, REST APIs, UI/UX Design, DevOps, cybersecurity, or mobile app development
  • The candidates should possess good communication skills, both written and oral, as well as interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with cross-functional teams
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent investigation, research, and problem-solving skills
  • The candidates should have excellent organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with designing and developing web applications that run on public cloud (AWS) and private cloud (OpenShift)
  • The candidates should be able to assist with designing responsive UI/UX and developing app prototypes
  • The candidates should be able to assist with developing test scripts and perform testing, including unit, system, and performance tests
  • The candidates should be able to assist in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) configuration using toolchains
  • The candidates should be able to research software technologies to create prototypes for demonstration
  • The candidates should be able to assist with troubleshooting and debugging issues
  • The candidates should be able to assist with drafting documentation
  • The candidates should be able to participate in product team daily scrum meetings
  • The candidates should be able to participate in special events and conferences as opportunities allow
