Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, Records Management, Information Technology, Criminology, or Paralegal studies
Experience: Candidates should have experience working with the judicial system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to accept shift work (days), be willing to accept shift work and overtime on weekends and holidays (days)
- The candidates should have the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently and the ability to manage stress in a work environment
- The candidates should have the ability to effectively exchange information, the ability to maintain confidentiality
- The candidates should acknowledge the requirement for standing, sitting, bending, and exposure to dirt, dust, and glare from computer screens, as well as awkward or confining spaces retrieving files from storage room shelves or cabinets
- The candidates should acknowledge the requirement to lift boxes up to 40 lbs and acknowledge the requirement for working with high-stress situations or individuals
- The candidates should acknowledge the requirement for exposure to graphic and sensitive content and required to work during adverse weather conditions and through a State of Emergency
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience with records and information management practices and procedures
- The candidates should have experience with records management systems, knowledge of records and information management practices and procedures
- The candidates should have knowledge of records management systems, knowledge of the judicial system and demonstrate strong relationship-building skills
- The candidates should demonstrate professionalism and a recent and satisfactory Enhanced Security Clearance
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide technical and administrative support for records and information services in a law enforcement environment
- The candidates should be able to maintain and retrieve data from law enforcement databases with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and independence
- The candidates should be able to respond to information requests through established procedures and delivery systems
- The candidates should be able to collect and maintain statistical data, provide workflow coordination, guidance, and direction to new employees and other staff
- The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with information management policies, legislation, and access to information regulations
- The candidates should be able to oversee the operations of divisional equipment and perform other related duties
