Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have customer service and sales experience in a contact centre environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the flexibility to work all shifts within the hours of operation. The Home and Auto Advice Centre is open Monday – Friday 8:00am – 8:30pm and Saturday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the willingness and ability to successfully obtain the General Insurance License for Ontario (Other Than Life) and the General Insurance License for all provinces
  • The candidates should possess exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with clients
  • The candidates should have digital literacy across a broad range of services  smartphones, tablets and laptops
  • The candidates should possess the Other Than Life (OTL) license at the time of application
  • The candidates should be fluent in both French and English and knowledge of insurance products

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls
  • The candidates should be able to exhibit a consistent, positive client experience with every conversation and resolve client concerns at the first point of contact, demonstrating relationship building through meaningful discussions
  • The candidates should be able to complete personalized needs assessments and reviews by leveraging tools, resources, and calculators to demonstrate value and support advice recommendations
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home and auto insurance policies
  • The candidates should be able to use procedures effectively and seamlessly during conversations with clients
  • The candidates should be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team
