Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 4+ years of data scientist experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 5+ years of experience in data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), or statistical/mathematical software (R, SAS, and Matlab)
- The candidates should demonstrate experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression
- The candidates should possess 2+ years of experience in data visualization using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, and R Shiny
- The candidates should have experience managing data pipelines
- The candidates should have experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver independently on challenging large-scale problems with high complexity and ambiguity
- The candidates should be able to define customer problems, propose effective solutions, and define solution metrics
- The candidates should be able to partner with Engineers to deliver experiments and deep dive results to report on improvement across key metrics
- The candidates should be able to retrieve, synthesize, and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answering specific questions or improving system performance
- The candidates should be able to analyze historical data to identify shopper or business trends
- The candidates should be able to build Machine Learning and statistical models to solve business and customer problems
- The candidates should be able to conduct written and verbal presentations to share insights with audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication
