MODERCO INC. has been designing, making and selling operable partition systems that can be found in conference centers, hotels, auditoriums, restaurants, offices, universities, gymnasiums and more, across the world since 1984. Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Furniture and fixtures manufacturing company
Work site environment: Candidates should work in hot and noisy place
Security and safety: Criminal record should checked and driving record should checked (abstract)
Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots, tools, safety glasses/goggles and gloves
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Forklift Operator Certification, Working at heights training, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board�(WSIB) clearance Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, manually dexter, pay attention to detail and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be physically strong and also a combination of sitting, standing, walking
- The candidate should have hand-eye co-ordination
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment, check and weigh materials and products and also sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- The candidate should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers and also clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to perform other labouring and elemental activities
