Salary: $18.00 hourly for 25 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive manual transmission vehicle
Work setting: Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Green economy sector and specialized environmental skills and knowledge 

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in livestock combination farming and be familiar with organic farming practices
  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and have knowledge of livestock management
  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure, managing a large workload and willing to work overtime when required
  • They should be physically fit to handle demanding tasks, perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail, and be skilled in handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exercise good judgment
  • The candidates should also be highly organized, effective team players, and demonstrate flexibility

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
