Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools accurately
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials according to specifications
- The candidates should be able to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to industry standards
- The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments efficiently
