Job Description:

Position: Office administrative assistant
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $26.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be capable of working effectively under pressure and demonstrate attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess the ability to multitask and perform tasks accurately
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent written communication skills and maintain organization in their work
  • The candidates should function effectively as team players and prioritize client focus
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their work

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position


  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines, schedule and confirm appointments, and answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • The candidates should be able to answer electronic inquiries, compile data, statistics, and other information, and order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material, and coordinate the flow of information
  • The candidates should be able to set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, type, and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
