Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Candidates should have Typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to understand customer needs and provide business banking sales and service to BMO customers or prospects
  • The candidates should be able to advise customers on business banking strategies and products (including credit cards) that meet their objectives
  • The candidates should be able to fulfill sales and service activities for the customer in accordance with approved procedures
  • The candidates should be able to identify and make referrals to other business groups as needed
  • The candidates should be able to handle customer inquiries in an informed, professional, and efficient manner
  • The candidates should be able to probe to understand customer needs and provide advice related to business banking and credit card strategies that meet their objectives
  • The candidates should be able to manage all transactional outcomes of customer calls or defer to appropriate internal business groups
  • The candidates should be able to escalate complex or unresolved customer situations to the appropriate BMO colleague as required
  • The candidates should be able to perform any required activities after completed calls to ensure customer’s requests are accurately processed
  • The candidates should be able to maintain current knowledge of business banking and credit card industries, practices, and trends and integrate into customer conversations in a professional manner
  • The candidates should be able to integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations where appropriate
  • The candidates should be able to maintain the confidentiality of customer and Bank information
  • The candidates should be able to identify and report suspicious patterns of activity suspected to be related to money laundering
  • The candidates should be able to adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements appropriate for the jurisdiction
  • The candidates should be able to provide subject matter expertise relating to product knowledge
  • The candidates should be able to complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules/limits and may include handling escalations from other employees
