Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, On Call
Transportation information: Own transportation, own vehicle
Work setting: Rural area, agriculture

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Customs services
Parts specialization: Agricultural machinery

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be meticulous with attention to detail in their tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work
  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and tasks with ease
  • The candidates should be proficient in performing repetitive tasks efficiently, maintaining consistency and focus throughout their duties
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the duties, demonstrating physical endurance and stamina
  • The candidates should be adept at meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality, managing time effectively to deliver results promptly
  • The candidates should be capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) safely and effectively, ensuring proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and maintain safety standards

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate dependability, possess excellent oral communication skills, and maintain organization in their work habits
  • The candidates should be reliable in meeting commitments and deadlines, exhibit punctuality in their attendance and tasks, and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to answer the telephone, relay telephone calls and messages, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidates should be able to advise on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts, handle cash transactions, and issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and track work orders, prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, and process incoming requisitions
  • The candidates should be able to sell spare and replacement parts, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment
