Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed High School diploma or equivalency (such as GED)
Experience: Candidates should have experience working in retail or rental shops

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be a minimum of 16 years of age and must provide proof of qualifications
  • The candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate strong cash handling abilities and basic math skills for success in this role
  • The candidates should possess excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and demonstrate a willingness to take initiative and solve problems
  • The candidates should exhibit strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and an excellent customer service orientation
  • The candidates should have strong interpersonal skills combined with a high level of enthusiasm and a willingness to take initiative and solve problems
  • The candidates should hold a current Intermediate First Aid certification (equivalent to Standard First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level “C”, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED))
  • The candidates should hold a valid Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search, with the date of completion within the last 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the pro shop by helping customers with equipment rental transactions, maintenance, cleaning, and services to the public
  • The candidates should be able to provide exceptional customer service and assist with customer questions and concerns and ensure the cleanliness of the rental shop, surrounding area, and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to perform rental equipment tuning, regular maintenance, and repairs and able to accurately process all rental equipment transactions in accordance with training
  • The candidates should be able to sell items/transactions and handle cash, utilizing the point-of-sale machine
  • The candidates should be able to assist with inventory processes such as rotating and displaying product
  • The candidates should be able to communicate in person and via radio with the team on a daily basis
