Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: The candidates should have 5 years of property & casualty underwriting or Broker experience

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have the ability to analyze auto and home customer needs, promote products and services, and suggest choices and innovative solutions
• The candidates should possess very strong communication, sales, and customer service skills
• The candidates should demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently and under pressure
• This position requires the successful candidate to visit clients and have a valid driver’s license
• The candidates should preferably have an OTL Agent License or RIBO Broker License, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire (assistance provided)
• The candidates should have familiarity with Powerbroker or other Industry Management systems is an asset

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to create new business opportunities using developed networks and build a sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales goals
• The candidates should be able to service a portfolio of Auto, Home, Commercial, and Farm insurance business, demonstrating a proven underwriting ability and a dedication to customer service perfection
• The candidates should be able to provide the best possible protection for policyholders by advising them to make informed choices and answering product questions
