Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering and operations management
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday, day shifts and act as owners in their role and ability to engage and empower their team
  • The candidates should be bilingual, with the ability to communicate with the head office in the United States
  • The candidates should have a structured approach to work and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have an equivalent combination of education and experience and experience in process management and continuous improvement
  • The candidates should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software and experience in planning and managing operating budgets
  • The candidates should have experience in maintenance management and demonstrate managerial courage
  • The candidates should possess strong communication skills and experience in implementing changes

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to implement preventive and corrective actions and carry out observation tours and preventive inspections and lead the implementation of actions to address gaps in key performance indicators and participate in problem-solving analysis processes
  • The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with OHS standards for all personnel, including wearing PPE, lockout procedures, working at heights, confined spaces, and adhering to environmental standards and participate in accident investigations within their sector and provide health and safety training to staff in their sector
  • The candidates should be able to ensure the achievement of objectives and compliance with quality standards in their department by ensuring compliance with quality rules documentation, procedure monitoring and HACCP and implement preventive and corrective actions regarding quality management and carry out quality observation tours and conduct compliance audits
  • The candidates should be able to implement corrective actions to address quality complaints and optimize the management of micro-factory operations while respecting planned budgets and ensure the completion of production schedules
  • The candidates should be able to implement actions to address production issues and maximize equipment performance and escalate operational issues to maximize the speed of resolution
  • The candidates should be able to ensure the achievement of efficiency objectives within their department and perform financial goal management and budget management routines and lead presentations at department operations meetings
  • The candidates should be able to manage teams, including coaching, development, training, and discipline and carry out workforce management, including time worked, flexibility, knowledge and know-how, feedback, coaching, performance, development, and recognition
  • The candidates should be able to provide strong leadership on a daily basis to achieve results and improve practices and processes and coach team members, resolve problems, and quickly implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions
  • The candidates should be able to communicate with various stakeholders or partners internally and externally to achieve planned objectives and improve results and ensure compliance with manufacturing management system (KHMS) practices and tools
  • The candidates should be able to lead KHMS operational meetings and participate in the creation of projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, such as yield and Line Effectiveness Rate (TRG and OEE)
