Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience in designing, delivering and evaluating (international) student experience programs is required

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be individuals with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years should be demonstrated experience in intercultural and global fluencies initiatives
  • The candidates should be individuals with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years should be demonstrated experience with event coordination, including logistics and delivery
  • The candidates should be individuals with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, out of which a minimum of 3 years should be demonstrated experience in building successful collaborative programming with a diverse range of stakeholders toward a common goal
  • The candidates should be accredited or have an equivalent in intercultural learning and global fluencies
  • The candidates should be individuals with demonstrated experience in program design, delivery, and evaluation
  • The candidates should have knowledge of international student transitions into and out of international higher education landscapes
  • The candidates should possess demonstrated knowledge of multi-campus or distributed student support services and international student experience from the student life cycle lens
  • The candidates should demonstrate exceptional intercultural competency awareness, experience working with diverse communities & cultures, and an understanding of anti-oppression and equity practices
  • The candidates should have experience in developing programs and initiatives within a team environment
  • The candidates should have demonstrated experience leading large components of projects
  • The candidates should possess interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
  • The candidates should have excellent administrative skills, including word processing, data analysis, desktop publishing, and experience with databases
  • The candidates should be proficient in developing assessment tools, analyzing and interpreting data
  • The candidates should have strong assessment (quantitative and qualitative) skills, including program evaluation and performance assessments
  • The candidates should have proven experience in working in flexible environments and dealing with uncertainty

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work as the Program Coordinator, Intercultural and Global Programs, as part of the International Student Experience (ISE) Team
  • The candidates should be able to participate in the development and delivery of programs and resources that advance the international student experience
  • The candidates should be able to report to the Associate Director, International Student Experience and Global Fluency, and work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Inclusion and Diversity & Team Lead, ISE
  • The candidates should be able to contribute their strengths in intercultural learning and global fluencies across all ISE program portfolios
  • The candidates should be able to lead the development and delivery of programs, resources, and initiatives throughout the international student experience timeline, including transition in, the journey years, and transition out
  • The candidates should be able to oversee duties and training of the International Student Experience Ambassadors and collaborate closely with the Resource and Information Team to deliver and promote ISE events, programs, and educational workshops
  • The candidates should be able to ensure information is up to date on the website, social media, and digital communication channels, reviewing the impact and relevance of ISE programs through team evaluations and assessments
  • The candidates should be able to work with the ISE team to design and continue implementing evaluation frameworks for its programs and initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with the University’s Student Life portfolios, tri-campus International Centres, student organizations, clubs, and groups under the direction of the Associate Director and Team Lead, ISE
  • The candidates should be able to implement and promote access to great programming, services, educational and outreach initiatives related to the international student experience through partnerships
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate and promote access to and awareness of international student experience programs, services, resources, and initiatives across U of T while considering and positioning particular needs
  • The candidates should be able to plan and implement components of curricular and/or co-curricular programs and activities
  • The candidates should be able to determine logistical details and activities for events and/or programming
  • The candidates should be able to develop content for marketing and/or promotional materials
  • The candidates should be able to develop strategies that maximize outreach to students
  • The candidates should be able to write summary reports on programs and services
  • The candidates should be able to implement plans and process improvements for program and service activities
  • The candidates should be able to foster and maintain networks to build capacity and collaboration
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the recruitment process and training of casual staff
