Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent experience in computer science/engineering or a related technical field
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a senior project manager/program manager for product development
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in an office setting, involving extended periods of sitting and computer use
- The candidates should be capable of occasional travel for meetings, client visits, or collaborative work
- The candidates should have the capability to attend and actively participate in various project and team meetings
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a required background in product development, preferably in telecom or another high technology industry
- The candidates should showcase advanced project management skills
- The candidates should be effective communicators with great stakeholder management skills
- The candidates should exhibit interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
- The candidates should provide technical project leadership to the teams, driving closure of technical issues
- The candidates should possess the ability to motivate and guide highly technical engineers and developers, removing roadblocks to ensure they can deliver
- The candidates should have sound experience with Agile and Lean Development methodologies
- The candidates should be self-motivated, with a positive demeanor and a drive to solve problems and expand knowledge
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be responsible for all product release programs from inception to market launch. This includes project and scope planning, project execution and integration with Vonage and CSP
- The candidates should be capable of managing overall work with internal and external stakeholders such as product managers, customer units, Operation & Support team
- The candidates should be able to drive overall program capability to ensure effective delivery of product releases
- The candidates should be capable of managing release projects execution: monitor and reporting, conflicts, critical issues, change management, risk management, and dependency management
- The candidates should be able to ensure all projects deliver on time, budget and to product commitment
- The candidates should be capable of securing and maintaining communication both within matrix organization, including reporting progress, status and follow-up of activities and results
- The candidates should be able to drive Operational Excellence, ensuring optimal utilization of team’s capacity and application of standard methodologies that support company’s values
- The candidates should be capable of reporting Program Status to the GNP Leadership team
