Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a class A Pharmacists license
Experience: Candidates should possess superior customer relations experience, skills, and a strong sense of professionalism
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent leadership and performance management skills
- The candidates should have a proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should exhibit strong problem-solving skills, including experience in formulating and executing action plans
- The candidates should have strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of the Health Watch Pharmacy Computer system
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- The candidates should be able to ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs
- The candidates should be able to counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and pro-active interaction
- The candidates should be able to create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
- The candidates should be able to provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and Doctor’s requests/issues
- The candidates should be able to review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
- The candidates should be able to provide on-going training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s)
